With its sporty stance and chiselled lines, Freelander 2 represents Land Rover's latest thinking? in compact, dynamic form.
The bold design statement is backed up by empowering technology, like the optional Adaptive Bi-xenon headlamps which swivel in the direction of travel.
Interior
Comfort and space get pride of place in Freelander 2. The seats provide excellent support, safety and durability: six-way electric adjustment is standard for the driver. Everyone gets superb leg, head and shoulder room, as well as a clear view thanks to tiered 'stadium' seating. A 60/40 split rear seat makes for versatile loadspace, but even when it's raised there's plenty of room for loads.
Safety
Freelander 2 is packed with the latest primary safety systems and technology. Its extensive primary safety features – not least its responsive handling, ABS brakes, Electronic Traction Control and intelligent 4x4 system – help you avoid hazards. intelligent stop/start
The new 2010 model Freelander 2 TD4_e manual is the first SUV in the world with intelligent Stop/Start. When you're stationary, the engine switches off, and smoothly restarts when you're ready to pull away. The results are dramatic: so you improve fuel economy up to 6.7l/100km (combined cycle), 5.7l/100km (extra urban) and 8.5l/100km (urban).
The Freelander TD4_e is the first Land Rover with e_Terrain Technology. It's the first SUV that saves you money every time you stop. And at a low entry price it's the first Freelander 2 that saves you money even before you start.
